Firstly thank you for taking the time to find out more about me and my business.
For over 20 years I have been designing and making.From the earliest age I have always been fascinated by clothes, fabrics,art ,making and sewing- I can`t remember a time when I wasn`t drawing,sewing and creating. Tailors,dressmakers,artists and crafts people are on both sides of my family-so creativity runs through the generations!
These passions led me to art college where I studied for four years first with a general art foundation course and then onto a BA Hons in Theatre design at Wimbledon College of Arts. And later a short professional course studying Pattern Cutting at London College of Fashion.
For ten years I worked freelance in the professional Theatre within Set and Costume.The rich and varied skills that I gathered during this time informs my work today and gave me the confidence and practical knowledge to then set up my own business in 2015. Costume and Fashion are inextricably linked, both deal with the language and power of clothes.How different styles,shapes,textures and details make the wearer look and feel.
My knowledge of costume construction through the decades translates perfectly to the complex nature of Bridal design and inspires my own off the peg designs.

Often if you look at the label of well known designer brands you might be surprised to see that the fabric used is Polyester and the garment is mass produced. I offer the finest silks,natural fibre fabrics and laces from long established and trusted Uk suppliers.
Everything is hand crafted here at the studio using traditional couture sewing skills,exquisite hand beading and embroidery.In an increasingly digital world I feel strongly about keeping things human. That is why from the design sketches to all aspects of making the dresses, everything here is done by hand.Celebrating the art and craft of fashion and sewing.
